Frequently asked questions
A few things people ask most often.
- How often do you publish?
- Whenever I have genuinely learned something worth writing down - usually every few weeks. I would rather publish one solid, useful post than a steady stream of filler.
- Can I get new posts by email?
- Yes. Subscribe using the form on this page or the subscribe page, and each new post is emailed to you the day it goes live. No spam, and one-click unsubscribe.
- Is there an RSS feed?
- Yes, the full feed lives at /rss.xml and works with any reader. It is also what powers the email newsletter.
- What do you write about?
- Backend and systems work: distributed systems and job queues, running WordPress at scale (MySQL, Elasticsearch, caching), and building agentic AI and RAG pipelines. Always with real examples, not theory for its own sake.
- Can I quote or republish your articles?
- Short quotes with a link back are always welcome. For full republication, please get in touch first via the contact page so we can sort out the details.
- Do you accept sponsorships or guest posts?
- I keep the reading experience clean and do not run intrusive ads. I am open to the occasional relevant sponsor mention - reach out through the contact page and we can talk.
- How can I reach you?
- The contact page has the best ways to get in touch, including email and social links.
